Do my eyes deceive me, or has the color returned to the face of Lake Michigan? After my seemingly unending lamenting about our weather lately, it appears that Mother Nature has swooped in for a reprieve. This is the first time in days that we’ve actually had…………..hhhhmmm, now what is that shiny, bright object called again? Ah yes, the sun! Lake Michigan is looking lovely this afternoon, although I must say the humidity hasn’t lifted. I’m quite surprised there aren’t dozens of sailboats dotting the horizon.
It really is amazing to me how weather can affect our moods so much. I love the rain actually, but not just for days on end. I’m sure my UK friends can relate!
I just checked and tomorrow’s forecast is calling for ‘delightful’ weather. My weather app actually used that word. Now, if the weather person loves rain, then we will differ on our definition of ‘delightful’. *grin* Here’s hoping it’s sunhats and sunscreen, as opposed to umbrellas and frightfully frizzy hair! Either way, I’ll be delighted to let you know! 🙂
