Being at the Bean – Millenium Park, Chicago

I’m always fascinated by how many people utterly love “The Bean” in downtown Chicago! No matter the time of year or what kind of weather is happening at the moment, there are always people ‘loving the Bean’!

Located in Millenium Park here in Chicago, I went to take some pics of the Fall foliage with the Bean in the background.Β  However, as you can see, there doesn’t appear to be much in the way of turning leaves yet, does it?

I plan on going back in a week or two and hopefully by then we’ll have some lovely orange and red leaves to compare this picture with.Β  I’ll then repost this pic and the Autumn pic for comparison.

Back to “The Bean” for me!

Oh, by the way, “The Bean” is actually called, “Cloudgate”, and the designer of said structure absolutely abhors it being called “The Bean”.Β  I don’t know why he gets so upset about it; after all, a Cloudgate by any other name is still as shiny!
