Sunday Serenity: Chicago Cans for Good

Talk about a fantastic idea! A unique competition called, “Canstruction Chicago” was recently held in the massive Merchandise Mart Building here in Chicago.  Businesses were invited to create a structure using only cans of food, which would later be donated to The Greater Chicago Food Depository.  The above photo shows the People’s Choice Winner with the theme titled, “Stomp Out Hunger Rhinow!”  Here is more information about this entry:

Given the timing of the recent movie hit, “Black Panther”, this entry won the “Most Cans Used” award:

What a fabulous idea, don’t you think? Well done to all participants for an extremely important organization in our city.  I’ll post more award winners soon!
