Sunrise Over Frozen Lake Michigan: Mountain-Range Clouds

Well, now, what do we have here? I’d say this is one interesting optical illusion!

This is what greeted me this morning; an almost undetectable Lake Michigan, covered in a thin layer of ice/snow. Behind it, the clouds look almost like a mountain range, don’t you think? They seemed to be caught in the frost zone with wisps of cold air trapped in place.

The sun has a lovely glow with the clouds surrounding it, making such an interesting dichotomy of warm and cold.

What a lovely way to start the weekend!

I hope your day is filled with warm thoughts and sunny skies!
