That’s a breathtaking sky, Cher. And I don’t think I’ve ever seen a purple sea before. It could have been taken on another planet.

Thank you so much, Hugh! This entire scene was so fleeting. I snapped a few photos and then all of the colors began to dissipate. The water was dark at first, but once the clouds became more brilliant from the sunrise, so did the water. It too began to fade back into darker shades.
