Talk about unusual clouds! Well, unusual for me to see this sight over Lake Michigan!
I took this photo last week; I couldn’t believe the texture and ‘fold-like’ patterns in the clouds. I don’t know what type of clouds these are, but I was fascinated by their wavy patterns. Definitely a skypainter original!
As some of you might have noticed, I haven’t been in the blogosphere a lot lately. I do apologize for the intermittent posts and participation. Although not officially taking a blog break, I’ve had various activities and tasks to take care of on this side of the computer which haven’t left a lot of time in the day for posts.
Soon I’ll be returning to a more regular blogging schedule. As Fall/Autumn is fast approaching, there will be some incredible sunrises; I’ll ‘get my skates on’ and watch for those amazing sky scenes to share with you!

Thanks for sharing Cher. This has been an interesting summer for clouds and it seems they always bring rain – usually as soon as I’ve hung my laundry out on the line! LOL

Thank you, Michelle! There was a thunderstorm right after I took this picture! It didn’t seem to be a damaging storm. It was mostly a lot of lightning over Lake Michigan!
Have you experienced a lot of interesting clouds in your area this summer? LOL If I had a line I swear that is precisely what would happen to me! LOL Cher xoxoxo

The weather has just been very strange. Most years, the clouds pass with no rain. This year, as soon as it gets cloudy, we get rain. But it’s very localized. We get a downpour and 10 minutes away, they get nothing.
