Muted Monday: Clouds Over Lake Michigan

The clouds over Lake Michigan have been rather muted lately.  I do think it is the time of the year, as Fall seems to bring plenty of colorful, magical-looking clouds.  However, it does look quite serene, don’t you think? The water is presenting a bit of an illusion, though.  What you see below the horizon line is water; however, there are parts of it that look like beach areas, or sandbars.  The play of light and shadows on Lake Michigan’s surface fascinates me.  It’s a lovely reminder of the every-changing picture show that takes place every morning.

I hope you have a wonderful, ‘non-muted’ Monday!
