Wrigley Building (Yes, THAT Wrigley)!

wrigley-building-3

The sky was flawlessly blue the other day when I snapped this photo!   I love the Wrigley Building in downtown Chicago (its the old building with the clock adorning it).  I also love/hate the juxtaposition of the modern buildings.  What do you think?

Gum was a bit of a joke with a long since Ex in the early 80’s. We went to Toronto for a few days, days I can’t speak of here but wow…

Nice post, Cher! Chicago’s architecture is wonderful in so many ways and the Wrigley Building is a key part of that.

Why thank you, Brett! I agree completely! The architecture here is the most diverse (yet collegial) I’ve seen anywhere. Cher xo

Great picture of one of the most-recognizable buildings in Chicago. Chicago might be the greatest city for architcture in the world, certainly in the United States.

Thank you, John! I absolutely agree; I don’t think I’ve ever seen a city with such magnificent (and diverse) architecture anywhere. Yet, it all works together, doesn’t it? Cher xo

I love this kind of building. Reminds me of the old movies. I am so looking forward to checking out Chicago in August!

I like the mix of old building and new building together. It makes subtly the point of how the city is never a finished thing; it runs backwards and forwards without limits too.
