Aboard The Queen Mary: The Queen’s Salon

Queen's Salon Queen Mary May 26th

Hi everyone! Here is a little look inside this spectacular vessel! This is the “Queen’s Salon”.  In its heyday it held parties and events with guests including Elizabeth Taylor, Bob Hope, Clark Gable, Audrey Hepburn, and so many more I couldn’t possibly list them all!

I popped into the room to see it decorated for an event the other evening.  Oh, it looked so amazing! I know my photo doesn’t do it justice, that’s for sure!

Oh it really is, John! The entire ship is like a dream sequence! And there is music played from eras gone by which make it seem even more surreal! Cher xo

It sure was my dear! An absolutely magnificent vessel and the history! There is (was) no ship like the Queen Mary. The number of times she adverted disaster is astounding! Cher xo

It looks like something out of time, from a movie or book, wow, you can almost picture women and men in fancy dress clothes dancing to old timey music. Thank you, Cher, it’s lovely.
Hope this week treats you kindly.
    Big hugs, Donna xoxo

You would absolutely love it! It’s like being transported back in time! They play music from the 1930’s and 40’s which really transports you to that time period! Cher xo
