The Friday File – Blue Angels In The Sky!

Blue Angels 1

In previous posts I have mentioned the phenomenal and awe-inspiring view we are so grateful to have over Lake Michigan.  Whether it be a gorgeous sunrise, a storm hovering, wayward balloons, fireworks, or something unbeknownst to me, the above photo is one of my favorites.

Apologies for the lack of clarity in the photos in this post, but this amazing precision flying team, the “Blue Angels” was traveling at God only knows what speed.  I was shocked I was able to capture them at all!

The Chicago Air & Water Show took place a few weeks ago.  Luckily we were able to see a few practice runs, as it were.  Here is another photo I took of this outstanding United States Air Force group:

It is almost surreal to know these pilots are flying very, VERY close together! I admire these flyers in every sense of the word!

Happy blue sky Friday, everyone!

So fun to watch! We saw the Blue Angels practicing one year near VA Beach. Thanks for sharing! 🙂

When I pause to realize what they do … It takes my breath away. Let us never take these moments for granted!

Aah-haaa! Your American Blue Angels display knuckle whitening nerves of steel! How coincidental I was watching our Canadian Snow Birds flying in full formation above my head at the local Brantford Air Show right in my own back yard, a yearly formation that signals the end of summer! (sorry no pics).

Hi dearie! Oh were you? Aren’t they incredible! The Canadian Snow Birds are equally as talented as the Blue Angels! *LOL* You knew I was going to ask about pics! 😉 Yes, the Brantford Air Show is always at the end of the summer, isn’t it? Cher xo
