Now this particular sunrise had me humming the old Beatles tune, “Here Comes The Sun”. I couldn’t help it, really; there was a band of clouds hovering in front of the morning sun. The sun began to peek over the top of the curtain veil, ergo my, “sun, sun, sun, here it comes” à la Beatles classic song.
I love the bright beams of light reaching into the sky and down to Lake Michigan. I am certainly provided with magnificent, free entertainment, aren’t I?
I hope your Friday is filled with beams of brilliant light!

Beautiful sun and beautiful warmth this morning. It’s already all the way up to 3 degrees! Don’t worry about the global warming trend here in Madison. Tonight we’re expecting a low of 8 below which will be an all time low for this day of the year in this area. 🙂
Wow, a whole 3 degrees, Mike! I think it’s about the same here, too! This weather is certainly reminding me of Canada!! No, I don’t think global warming has reached this area of the planet yet!! Yikes, stay warm!! cher xo
Waaaarm sun.. that’s what I need and LOTS of it!
You guys have no snow, right? I’ll send the sun, and please take some of our snow! Deal? *clink* ;-P Cher xo
Ehem aren’t you forgetting something? 😛
I *clinked* the spoons for ice cream….um, *just tilted my head to the side like a puppy* what did I forget?? ;-P
Ah, see? details 😛😛
*Ah, right*! Okay, and a GALLON of rocky road *can’t remember what that is in litres?* 😉
Just three buckets of them will do 😉
Hahaha BIG spoons!!
Now you getting it 😆
Takes me a while, it seems! 😉
😄😛😛
Wow! Cher, what a magnificent image. An entire parable of life expressed in the sky. No better way to start your day. By the way, that’s one of my favourite Beatles songs. You got me humming it with your image in my mind. 🙂
You always say the kindest things, dear Don! Thank you so much! *LOL* It is one of my favs, too! *truth be told* I too am humming the song!! Ah, bless! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!! Cher xo
Great image, Cher – lovely sunny day here, and around 19C (65C), spring is on the way at long last – yeee-haaa!
Hi Mo! Ah, that will put a spring in your step! *grin* Yeee-haaa indeed, dearie!! Thank you! Cher xo
A wonderful way to start the day… it’s worth getting out of bed early enough to greet the sun.
Ah, thank you so much! I must tell you that the gorgeous sunrises are fleeting so I try really hard to get the ‘best’ moment!! Cher xo
Yes, beautiful sun and 1 degree when I was having breakfast. The cat food freezes on the plates before the strays can eat it and then the plate freezes to the ground. The sun is just teasing us but I’m always happy to see her anyway.
Ah, you are right! Sorry to hear about the cat food, though, poor kitties! Cher xo

Brilliantly sunny day here too! Are we setting a trend?
I think we might just very well be doing that!! 🙂 🙂 Cher xo
I will feel like you do as soon as spring arrives. I am just too cold for that kind of warm welcome for the day! Hugs, Barbara
*LOL* I completely understand, dear Barbara!!! Hugs, Cher xo

Very beautiful sunrise 😉
Thank you, Irene! It was a fleeting moment but I sure tried to capture it! Cher xo
Friday and Saturday worked out well for me. Saturday night saw a bit of snow and Sunday overcast, but the snow melted off anyway. I can take that.
I think there are a lot of folks here in Chicago that could take that too, Joseph! 🙂 🙂 Cher xo
Can I borrow that Sun for just a little while, I seem to have misplaced ours? 🙂
I’m sending it to you; it’s never a good idea to misplace the sun, is it? *grin* Cher xo
The neighbours are blaming it on me. LOL 🙂
Well when I send you some sun, they can ‘blame’ that on you, too (in a good way)! *grin* Cher xo
