The thoughts of warmer weather today were a tad bit presumptuous on my part! Awakened by this masqueraded ‘warm’ greeting of a sunrise still unfolding made me feel as if I could throw open the windows, grab the beach towels, slap on the sunscreen and………………….
Reality kicked into high gear. It’s February, and it’s Chicago, and there is a layer of ice on parts of Lake Michigan. Ah, but the sunrise certainly warmed my spirit to start the day; I hope you enjoy yours!

We are SO cold here! Schools are closed due to extreme cold. We are in the negative ranges (F) yet I will not get discouraged cause Spring is almost here!!!! YAY!!!!!
