This morning I was greeted by the gentle unfolding of the sunlight as it created a flashlight on Lake Michigan.
It is almost as if the clouds were pulled back like mysterious curtains, and the beams of light were sprinkled onto the water, gathering into one, solid and illuminating spotlight on the surface of Lake Michigan.
It never ceases to amaze me, this planet of ours.
I hope you have a Saturday overflowing with an attitude of sheer gratitude!

Wonderful view, great photo. I read that Canada’s iconic coffee chain, which you mentioned a while back, is getting threatened with takeover, was it by Burger King? can’t remember. What a sacrilege,eh?

Thanks, Mo! Oh yes, that is exactly correct! Tim Hortons is being purchased by the American restaurant chain, “Burger King”. I do hope things stay relatively the same, though. Time will tell!!! Cher xo

I would love to see the lake as an actual lake. For my one and only visit last December, it was iced over near the docks. You’re so blessed!

Oh yes, you must come back and see it in nicer weather! We just got back from a walk there, actually. There is a beach area devoted to doggies! It is delightful to see them playing in the water! Cher xo

Sigh. The beach. My gosh I miss water (from my Calif days). I’ve got to get to some lake here, soon! (2 hour drive north, but it would be worth it, I suppose)
