On this day we give thanks for the many blessings that Canada provides. I am so honored to be a Canadian/American, and I give thanks to you, my dear readers! Always grateful for each and every one of you!

Hello. What do Canadians eat typically on Thanksgiving?

Hi Colin and welcome to the Chicago Files! That’s a great question! Basically Canadians eat almost the same types of foods on Thanksgiving as Americans do on American Thanksgiving. Turkey, stuffing (Canadians sometimes call it “dressing”), mashed potatoes, maybe peas, corn, or beans, and pumpkin pie or apple pie for dessert. I’m a vegetarian so I like the vegetables and the stuffing (and apple pie)! 🙂 Cher xoxoxo
