I spent two pretty awful years at NU, but it was a nice campus. I recognize the Tech Institute in the foreground, and I think Sheridan Road is on the left, so you’re looking north? I can’t see the Baha’i Temple, though, which leaves me confused, not a strange thing for me… It’s really grown since I was there, (my God!) forty years ago…

You are correct! The view is looking North. I think the Baha’i Temple is a lot further North, isn’t it? I love Evanston; it’s my favorite area of Chicagoland! I’m sorry you didn’t have a good experience at college. Cher xo

It’s been a few years, but if you go north on Sheridan and thru the S curve north of campus, the temple is not far, in Gillson Park. Now that I think of it, it’s much further west of Tech …I don’t remember seeing it from campus. Never mind…

*LOL* I’ve been past it, but I’m pretty sure it is father North (and yes, you are right, you can’t see it from campus)! Cher xo

I’m pretty sure you’re right. Tech is at Sheridan and Noyes, the temple is at Sheridan and Linden in Wilmette, so it’s 3-4 miles.

There’s that lovely blue water! Lake Michigan is very beautiful! I’m not sure if College & University are two different things there in the United States of America? Looks lovely there though!

Hi dearie! Yes, the water is amazing! College and University are the same here; I know in Canada college means, “community college”. I don’t know why the US calls “university” and “college” the same thing!! πŸ™‚ It’s beautiful in that area! Cher xo
