This photo is certainly a far cry from the blissful and serene sunrise photo I posted yesterday. I took this photo last weekend. Huge apologies for the quality of the photo. The scenes over Lake Michigan can literally change in a matter of minutes. These thunderous, angry clouds literally rolled by, hanging extremely low over the water.
It’s a solemn day as we remember what occurred 14 years ago in New York City. I felt it fitting to show this photo, not as a way of continuing the anger towards those who caused so much indescribable pain. I noted the words, “rolled by”; it is my hope the anger will continue to roll by and be replaced by hope and a brighter day ahead.

We may really hope that the world will learn by this Cher. It was so tragical.
It really was Irene. I think we all remember exactly where we were when we heard this literally unreal news. I hope for that too, Irene. Cher xo
Great capture of the moment. Thank you for your thoughtful word, Cher! xo
Ah, thank you so much, Amy! Blessing to you my dear! Cher xo
Wow! what a sky! I remember that day too watching through the screen, live, it was unbelievable yet there it was 🙁
Isn’t that a crazy sky? The clouds just hung over the water so low. Yes, it was an unreal day, wasn’t it? I was so scared and confused by it all. 🙁
Weather patterns are messed up everywhere these days, where it’s supposed to be fall is now summer just like here in Vancouver right now :S
Oh is it, Andy? It’s crazy all over the place, isn’t it? What are the temps right now in Van? Cher xo
Surprisingly? cooler now, though last week it was up in the low 30’s, what’s up with that huh!
That is crazy, isn’t it? Bah!!! Cher xo
Ominus – what a sky!
It certainly caught my attention, Mary!! Cher xo
I love the different faces of the same landscape when the weather or daylight changes. Thank you for sharing, Cher 🙂
Thank you so much, Erika! You said that perfectly, as that is exactly what it is!! Cher xo
Thank you, Cher 😊
🙂 xo
They look like they are literally just rolling in. Reminds me of a Guinness advert, now I’m picturing the clouds are horses lol
*LOL* They literally did roll in! Ah, we can’t see that advert over here! I wonder if it is on the internet? By the way, your post (Steve’s link) regarding the spider was *literally* in my news feed right before Time Nexus’s post about spiders: https://wordpress.com/read/post/feed/1294784/804663924 I thought, is there something going on with spiders in the blogosphere this evening? *LOL* Cher xo
Lol I’m going to bed now to have nightmares about spiders ffs 🙂
*LMAO* Me too dearie, me too!! 😉 Cher xo
By the way the Guinness and is actually about surfing but your clouds reminded me of it. It’s probably on YouTube 🙂
Ah, right! I shall check it out on YouTube whilst avoiding the spidies!! ;-P
Oh if only you could see me shudder! Lol
Hehehehehehe!!! ;-P
Fabulous image, Cher, it looks like a painting. The splendor of the sky!
Ah, thank you my dear! The sky is fascinating to me! Don’t you just love how nature creates its own art? Cher xo
Wow. Great shot.
Thank you, David! It was quite the site, I must say! Cher xo
Really poignant photo and message.
Ah bless! Thank you Chrissie! Cher xo
