Sunday Serenity: Orchid in January — Calm in the Storm

I cannot believe I’ve had this orchid for about ten years. Every time I begin to think it won’t bloom again, it does.

Dealing with the pandemic has been so stressful for everyone, including yours truly. But when I noticed a tiny little purple bulb beginning to form on the orchid, I felt calm, happy, and inspired.

It’s almost as if this beautiful orchid was reminding me that yes, things are going to get much better. It’s patience we need in order to see the brightness of our world appear again.

I hope you are doing well, and please remind yourself (and others) “this too shall pass.” We are going to be just fine, and the best way I can think of getting through this is by realizing everyone is experiencing it. Helping others, even with a quick call or email can make a huge difference when we (and others) feel isolated and alone.

Like this gorgeous orchid, goodness will arrive, and how incredibly grateful we will feel.

I am also reading this book. I read a story at the end of every day. It’s a nice way to end the day on a positive note.

The DEMOgraphic of the orchid the bottom petals sees a little face (white) pearing out at you and if I may say has two little purple wings. Now there is something to put you in Awe! like a microphone in your hand lol
