Friday File: Sunrise, Lake Michigan, Under a Foggy, Cotton Candy Sky!

Well here’s a bit of an unusual sunrise that appeared over Lake Michigan this morning.

When I saw it, I immediately thought of cotton candy; wispy and whimsical. But if you take a look below the sky you might not be able to quite see the horizon line of the lake. It was foggy so it made for an unusual scene.

Muted colors, horizon line blending into the sky; perhaps that is a good symbol to start the weekend with, don’t you think? Nice and calm, quiet, and although understated, lovely in its own right.

I hope you have a wonderful “cotton candy” kind of weekend!

Wow! It looks like a creamy cocktail of banana, orange, and mango. What a color explosion!
