Sunrise, Lake Michigan: Wayward Clouds

Wow! This is the second day in a row that the sunrise over Lake Michigan here in Chicago is nothing less than spectacular! November sunrises are some of the best of the entire year! I love the juxtaposition between the dark clouds and the orange-lit background. What’s that? Oh yes, there seems to be a bit of blue sky as well!

The clouds were moving along at quite the clip when I took this pic, which meant I had to be quick with the shot!

I hope you have a lovely, colorful day!

Thank you so much, SD! Believe it or not, our temperature is about 68F (19C) and we are getting up to 74F (22C) today! But I know what you mean. It does look cold, doesn’t it? Cher xo

I fear we have had quite the cold snap here and it is on its way over to you. Been in the 50s for a daily high temp – brrrrf!
