Hi, Patricia! It is so lovely to see you! Why thank you so much! I utterly love “Angel’s Flight.” It certainly is one of the famous landmarks in L.A., isn’t it? It’s also one of my personal favorites! Cher xo

How lovely to be in touch. Another one of my favorites is the Carousel on the Santa Monica Pier. I used to love to ride on that.

Yes, it certainly is, Patricia! Did you? I’ve seen it, but sadly the day I was on the Santa Monica Pier it was packed with people. I’ll definitely go back when it’s less crowded. Thank you, Patricia! Cher xo

Oh, do go! The music is wonderful.Sometimes, when I didn’t actually ride it,I’d sit on one of the benches and just watch and listen to the music. Another wonderful one was on Coney Island years ago.

It sounds amazing, Patricia! Whether riding or observing, I must go there! I’ve never been to Coney Island; is there one still there? Cher xo

I don’t know whether or not it’s still at Coney Island. It has been 77 years since I have been there.

A funicular! We have one in Edmonton, too, and I have enjoyed using it to get from downtown to the river valley and back again.
Here’s Andrea Boccelli (I think) singing in praise of the funicular at Mt. Vesuvius.

I think they’ve done quite a bit of restoration, GP! When I was there it looked great, but I must also tell you that I used the stairs first, and it was QUITE the climb! LOL Cher xo
