I would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year! I hope that 2020 is your best year yet, filled with amazing surprises and more joyful moments than you can imagine!
I must tell you that 2019 was one of the worst years I have ever experienced. I certainly don’t say this lightly. I know there were a lot of people who seemed to experience the same kind of year. I’m hoping that for those who couldn’t see the back of 2019 soon enough, that 2020 is beyond stellar.
Do you make New Year’s resolutions? I try to have a couple of them, and this year my number one resolution is not to be so hard on myself. I think a lot of us struggle with that.

On a better note, I have a project coming up in 2020 that I’m really excited about, and I’ll be writing about it soon!
So here’s to 2020 with gratitude and appreciation to each and every one of you who read my posts. I can honestly say that it brings me tons of happiness knowing you stop by The Chicago Files. Thank you and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Thank you, Cher and a Happy and fruitful New Year to you and yours. As far as a resolution is concerned I make the same 3 every year: Diet, Exercise, and eat more pies. I always manage to fulfill one for the entire year.
