It sure is, Trent! I took some photos yesterday so I’ll post some tomorrow so you can see how green it still is! Cher xo

Robert thank you so much! That is extremely kind of you to say! I was on the river walk yesterday here in Chicago, and I just happened to see the CPD’s Marine Operations boat go floating by! Can you see that the Chicago River is still ‘green’ from St. Patrick’s Day? Thank you again, Robert! Cher xo

Yes, I saw that. I wondered why it was green.

It was for St. Patrick’s Day! The Chicago River is dyed green (using a biodegradable vegetable dye). Here’s my post about it: https://wp.me/p4doQv-1Xr

Well you are most welcome! When I moved here from Canada, I was a bit taken back when I saw the green color the first time. I thought, what on earth? LOL But after finding out that it is all perfectly safe for the environment, I thought it was such a cool thing to do. I should also add Robert, there is a huge Irish population here in Chicago. But as they say, everyone is a bit Irish on St. Patrick’s Day, even the Chicago River! *grin* Thank you, Robert! Cher xo

I knew about the Irish population in Chicago but not about the green water. We’re such a diverse Nation. I place my hope in that.
