Yesterday afternoon presented such a lovely scene on and above Lake Michigan! The water was moving at quite a pace. It was extremely windy here, and the clouds were creating all sorts of interesting shadows on the lake’s surface. In fact, it almost appears as if there are sandbars or something else making the water seem ‘light and dark’. It’s been a while since I’ve seen the water this color and it was a welcomed site!
During our recent “Polar Vortex” there was certainly no movement to be seen on the lake. It looks like it is ‘up and running’ again!
There are a couple of anomalies that I captured in this photo. I’m sure they are birds but they look interesting nonetheless. Can you spot them?
I hope you have a brilliant start to the week! 🙂
Wow, that’s a pretty shot! Thank you for sharing it on Monday Blogs. I grew up in the U.S. and now permanently live in Canada. 🙂

I am sure you all are very happy seeing the lake and the surroundings in its own colors again. Without snow and ice!
