Polar Vortex, 2019 Part 2: More Lake Michigan Artwork!

**Addendum:  Meteorologist Chris Murphy –  @MurphTWN (Chris’s twitter page)  from Canada’s “The Weather Network” – @weathernetwork (The Weather Network’s twitter page) has kindly let me know that some of my photos from the Polar Vortex here in Chicago will be shown on air! I’d love to know if you see them! Thanks so much, Chris!  The Weather Network also has a US channel; here is their twitter page: @TheWeatherNetUS

Yesterday’s post was entitled, “Polar Vortex:  Lake Michigan’s Artwork

Today I thought I’d show you some more pictures from this frosty photo shoot!  I must tell you that the lake is now ‘back to normal’, as it were.  The ice has melted as the temperatures have become warmer (a relative term for the middle of winter in Chicago!).

I’m so glad I ventured over to Lake Michigan to take pictures of the rare event that was the Polar Vortex. You can see downtown Chicago in the background (the photo above). The John Hancock Building is always looming large!

I hope you are having a day filled with warm and cozy moments!

Please forgive me for misspelling your name, Cher! I don’t often realize my typos until after I hit send!
