Monday Wander: The Shape of Christmas Things

***There is an audio clip accompaniment to this post just above this note! I’ll be placing the audio clips in this section for all future posts as well!

The “What Cher is Saying Today” section located on the right-hand side of the page will now have messages and musings by yours truly. Thank you, everyone!

Well isn’t this an interesting looking Christmas Tree!  Not too much in the way of decor but nonetheless very uniform in shape!

What do you think?

It’s big, it needs more love in the decor department. ❤️😬🤭

I agree, John! I am pretty certain there are lots of little white lights on it but in terms of the daytime, yes, you are right! Cher xo

I was in your city at O’Hare a week or more ago heading to Michigan for the family Christmas. O’Hare is just as crazy as ever… 😎

Oh ya, it was so fun to see everyone. We are spread out far and wide, north and south east and west. 😬

Having just watched the movie, Elf, over the weekend, it reminded me of an Elf’s hat, Cher. Still, I think it looks beautiful and, as you say in your audio clip, is a piece of art.

You know, Hugh, I agree! It really does look like an Elf’s hat, doesn’t it? Ah, thank you for listening to the audio clip, Hugh! A piece of art it is! Cher xo

It’s good to hear you voice Cher ❣️
It’s a fake tree being true to its nature, instead of emulating nature. 🎄🎄🎄

Elegant tree but can use a little more love.

I’m trying to figure out where this is…
The tree seems surreal. You’re right, there’s something about it that just ain’t right. I’m sitting here looking at it and thinking “four-thirds pi r cubed.” And the decorations are a little too regular and devoid of any joy or Christmas spirit.

Oh, it’s at Church and Clark Street; not far from the Metra stop and the Purple line. But tell me what you really think about the decorations, John! *biggest grin* and *just teasing* 🙂 😉 Cher xo

Hey, I was being nice about the decorations. Oh, and it should have been “one third pi r cubed,” the formula for the volume of a cone; the other was the volume of a sphere, like those ornaments… 🤣
