Thursday’s Sky: Whispy & Light!

I was so pleased to look out of the window this morning to see this delightful sight! I immediately thought of it as a light, whispy, gentle scene.  Lake Michigan was quite calm, so everything fit together perfectly.

What is the weather doing in your part of the world?

It’s hot and humid here and afternoon storms are in the forecast, that is the norm here in the summer. We welcome the rain to cool down! xx

Oh is it? The humid weather to me feels oppressive. I don’t mind the heat, but when it is humid here in Chicago, I almost melt! I’m hoping you get rain soon my dear! Cher xo

Please do, we hardly have a winter here! Last year it dipped to the (brrrr) high forties for two whole days, what a treat! 🙂

Supposedly we’ll hit 117 next week a couple days in a row but I suspect that number will drop. It’s 106 just now. 🌵🌴😎

Hi Bette! Well that certainly sounds like a picture-perfect day! Have the monarchs made an appearance among the milkweeds, Bette? Cher xo

Our first royal visitor appeared on July 12 and we’ve sighted a total of 12 so far counting one on the underside of a milkweed leaf this morning… I report all of my sighting to Journey North. Generally the last ones are in late September when they”re heading south. Oh, the wonder of it all. ❤ Have an amazing weekend, Cher! xo
