Hi everyone! I’ve been absent from The Chicago Files recently as I won a trip to Los Angeles and have been soaking up the California sun! I had an absolutely brilliant time and just got back so I’m a bit bleary-eyed at the moment! I have lots to share with you, so for now I’d like to start with the above photo.
This is a pic of the beautiful hills from Hollywood if you can believe it! It is literally as if I was transported to another world, with everything so green and bright.
So it’s cups and cups of coffee for me for now, but I’ll get going soon enough and share some pics and stories with you!
I love California, yet it’s good to be back in Chicago and very importantly, back to The Chicago Files!

I’m glad your home safe Cher. So, c’mon back to the Valley, we have 80’s today. I will be meeting Sue and Dave from Travel tales Of Life on the fourth here in Vegas, at the Luxor for a lunch or breakfast!

Hi Susanne! I literally filled out a form online (one entry). I saw this contest advertised on one of the sweepstakes sites I often go to. I could hardly believe it when I received an email telling me that I had won. Please keep filling out entries, Susanne!! Oh, and the other thing I did (believe it or not) was that I kept saying (for months) that I was going to win a trip to California. Sounds crazy, but that’s exactly what I did!
