Monday’s Sunrise: Simple & Serene

I don’t know how else to describe this morning’s sunrise except to say it was calm, serene, and straight-forward.  The horizon line appeared like a red line with orange and yellow hues floating above it.

Lake Michigan seemed to have just a tiny bit of ice on it in places; or is that just an optical illusion?  Either way, it was quite unique in its simplicity.  I like that.

I hope your day is/has been simply serene!
