American Experience: Dusk Across Lake Michigan

sunset-february-1-2017

Depending on the time of year, I get either brilliant sunrises greeting me in the wee hours, or I see the shadows and highlights of the setting sun.  This was the scene last night as evening crept up on the day.  I love how the sun casts colors on the hovering clouds.  We have absolutely no snow here in Chicago.

Enjoy your day across the globe!! 🙂

No snow is good right? I’m guessing your residence faces east.

You noticed the time! Yeah, two hours behind you I believe. I’m up at five every morning so I can eat and get through my email which is all WordPress blogs. I start work at seven, so this gives me time.

I most certainly did notice the time! *LOL* Ah, that is wise; after all, getting your “WordPress time” in is very important!!! Cher xo P.S. Oh, and eating of course! 😉

Shouldn’t it be a “Chicago Experience?”
By the way, we haven’t got much snow, so it must be one of those off years for us.

This is stunning, Cher! I was thinking of you as I finally got to visit Chicago a few months ago- Ireland were playing NZ in rugby there, random but true! So my family and I met up there. What an awesome city- everyone was so incredibly friendly too. Defo plan on going back! I hope all is wonderful in your world, I’ve not been setting aside time to catch up with my fav bloggers, something I intend to change for 2017 so look forward to ‘seeing’ you more often!xo

Stunning shot, the clouds are delicious. I swear I can see the curve of the globe on the lake’s surface.
