I am extremely honored and excited to be interviewed by Kirk LaPointe of Roundhouse Radio in Vancouver, British Columbia TOMORROW!  Kirk has a terrific show called, “Our City”.  One of the segments Kirk has is called, “Expat Callout” where he interviews folks who are originally from Vancouver but have moved to other lands.  I’m not from Vancouver, but the wonderful people from Kirk’s team have kindly asked me to participate!  You can hear my interview tomorrow, Monday, April 4th at 8:10 a.m. CENTRAL TIME on the internet right here:  http://www.roundhouseradio.com/waystolisten.aspx or at 98.3 on your FM dial!

I am so grateful to have the opportunity to speak about my experiences living in Chicago! I hope you can tune in!  I’ll have a link to my segment in a post tomorrow as well.  It is a short interview (probably about 5 minutes or so).

You came across very clearly, Cher. Lovely to hear you relate your experiences in Chicago from the point of view of a Canadian. Glad I tuned in! An interesting interview and I think Kirk is good at putting his interviewee at ease. Thanks for sharing this. 🙂

Oh dear Iris! Thank you so much for tuning in! I am extremely grateful that you listened to the interview! Yes, Kirk is a wonderful interviewer! I was so nervous I was shaking when I first started speaking. I will be placing the link to the ‘podcast’ in a post here as soon as RoundHouse Radio is able to send it to me. I cannot even find the words to express my extreme appreciation for your wonderful words!! I am so grateful to you, my dear Donna! I am humbled by the fact the show’s producer has kindly invited me to appear on the show again sometime to talk about Chicago events, etc. The show is for expats from Vancouver; since I am not from there I was doubly honored they would ask me to be on Kirk LaPointe’s show. And big radio hugs to you too! Awh, bless! Thank you so much for sharing it, dear! I will also make a post with the link this Saturday. ❤ ❤ Cher xo

Why thank you so much, Ronnie!! I really appreciate your kind words. Now you know what a Canadian living in Chicago sounds like (well, at least what ‘this’ Canadian sounds like!) *LOL* People often remark that I write like I talk; next time you read a post of mine you’ll know how I am saying/writing it! 🙂 Cher xo

I have been pondering why you sounded just as I imagined. Perhaps it is a combination of my familiarity with your words and also the Canadian accent.

Occasionally you spoke in a manner that reminded me of a Scottish friend who lived in Canada for a long time. 🙂

Well it’s interesting because Helen from “Journey to Ambeth” (UK) said the same thing! She said I sound like she imagined! You know my heritage is Scottish on both sides of my family, Ronnie! Ah, the wee Canadian/Scottish lass who lives in America! *LOL* 🙂 xo
