Valentine’s Weekend – Enjoy The Love!!!

Book Love

[I wrote this post two years ago, just after I started writing, “The Chicago Files”.  This morning as I attempted to write a new post for Valentine’s Day (weekend), I felt the one you will read here is what I wanted to say again.  I hope you enjoy it!!]

This is Valentine’s Day weekend.  I know there are a million or more thoughts about this day.  Some love the ‘love day’; some loathe it, and the rest don’t care.  I want to say that love comes in so many forms, types, and ideas.  One common factor is the same:  the feelings.  Whomever or whatever you love, your dear soul feels it in the same way.  I love animals, and no truer words were spoken that the same love we have for a person is the same love we have for our furry and feathered creatures, bless them.

I know some of you have partners and some do not.  Please remember this:  to give love into the world and truly, and I mean truly do this every day, is a priceless gift that you give yourself.  It does come back to you in all kinds of ways.  Herein lies the catch:  you must be aware of it.  It doesn’t have to be romantic love; it can be the love of books, the love of a sunset, the love of helping others.  If we can spend our energy to focus on that which is right in front of us, the feelings that the Universe has for us in a multitude of forms will show up.  In fact, it already has.  You simply have to embrace it.

Now that I have doused you with some of my love lessons, I would LOVE to provide you with a little slice of Valentine’s Day from the deep dish world:

Deep dish Pizza Heart

Ah, the Chicago deep dish pizza avec heart!

Happy Valentine’s Day, from my the bottom of my pizza heart to yours! xoxo

Ever since we left Chicago in 1979 I have been looking for a comparable pizza here in San Francisco Bay Area. We’ve found a couple but I still miss Chicago’s!

Happy Valentines Day! I was attracted to your site by the “4444” sequence as I share the ‘4’ number is my email address, telephone number and home address. I am curious to know why you chose this particular sequence or whether it chose you?? Good that you aren’t in Canada currently, at least not in the Capital city area…the temp is dropping to -29C tonight! I put on an extra layer of clothing and I’m staying indoors! My big question about Chicago…have you bumped into Oprah yet?

Well my dear thank you so much for stopping by! Thank you for asking about the “4444” sequence! I have had a strong connection with 4s and 44 and “4444” for a long time. “seaangel” is also part of the reason I used my favorite numbers in this moniker. I love dolphins; they have been known to rescue people and are therefore given the nickname, “angels of the sea”. I also love angels, and the number “44” comes into play with angels a lot. I have “44” show up over and over again in many things, so truthfully, I am spiritually connected to this positive number! What about you? Ah, Oprah has, ‘left the Chicago building’, as it were. She moved to California several years ago. However, I was in her audience twice and shook her hand both times!! That is cold for Ottawa!! Thank you again for stopping by! I am about to check out your blog. Please come by anytime! Cher xo

Well, yeah, we DO have the best pizza anywhere:) No one can argue with that, except people from NY and what do they know about Chicago pizza, right? My cousin’s son moved to Colorado and when she visits she brings frozen pizza because he misses it so much:) The one in your picture looks wonderful:)

We certainly do my dear fellow Chicagoan!! As Lou Malnati’s is my reigning favorite pizza off all-time, anywhere, I know they ship their frozen pizzas across the country! Sadly, they don’t ship to Canada, or I’d be getting A LOT of requests! *LOL* NY folks (bless them) don’t know what REAL pizza is! There, I said it! 😉 *teasing* Cher xo

If there is a heaven it is eating pizza every day with no consequences (and a glass of red wine with it)… but in this realm, unfortunately, I cannot indulge… but I have great pizza memories of different kinds eaten in different places! Happy Valentines Day to you.
