Thursday’s Sunrise

Sunrise Lake Michigan Jan 28 2016 2

The sky painter was lighting the scene this morning with a ribbon of clouds highlighted by hues of orange.  The ‘dabbing’ of the paint-brushed clouds above showed pink subtleties which I thought contrasted nicely with the rest of the ‘stage’.

Ah, another interesting sunrise hovering above Lake Michigan!

Enjoy your day, everyone!!

The sky painter’s been busy out our way of late, as well! These glorious sunrises almost make up for the cold weather, don’t they? 🙂

Ah, Helen; that sky painter is quite the busy bee, I’d say! *LOL* I agree; it gives one a sense of warmth without the ‘warmth’! Oh I need more coffee (it’s still morning here in Chicago)! 😉 Cher xo

I might need a coffee too – it’s afternoon here and that time of day when energy starts to flag. Cheers! *clinks mugs virtually*

It was a lovely sunrise, but it started out as grey and dull; quite the nice surprise, Erika! Cher xo

Thank you my dear! Yes, it was fleeting, wasn’t it? In fact, I had no idea we would get such a lovely sunrise as it was gray before and after!! *as you know, my fellow Chicagoan!* 😉 Cher xo
