The Friday File – Macy’s Magical Windows!

Macy's Window 6 Nov 19 2015

It’s that time of year again when Macy’s Department Store brings the magic of the holiday season to its store windows! This year’s theme is, “Santa’s Journey to the Stars”.  The above photo is entitled, “Uranus & Neptune”.  It’s my favorite among this year’s windows.  I apologize for not getting the entire window in the photo! I love this window because to me it epitomizes frost, cool, magical, and special winter wonders!  My goodness, there appears to be a snowball fight in progress!! Let’s watch!

It is amazing, Andy! There are so many people that gather around the windows it is hard to get a good photo! I’ll try to get some more next week! Cher xo

Set off a whoopy cushion and it’ll clear up room quickly 😛

Quite magnificent Cher. It is magical. I can imagine the gaze of a child standing in front of that.

It really is something, Don! Ah yes, I have seen that happen and it’s actually more magical then the window itself! Cher xo

They can call it Macy’s if they want but it’ll always be Marshall Field’s to me! 🙂

Spectacular window dressings!! They look amazing, they sure go all out ! Macey’s is also famous for the huge floats in the Thanks Giving day parade, that is pretty cool to watch too! Enjoy your “window shopping” !

I guess the homey, old-fashioned Christmas windows went out when they took “Marshall Field” off the door. *sigh* Looks nice, anyway.
