Several months ago I mentioned I would be taking a little jaunt around Lake Michigan via the fantastic vessel you see in the above photo!  I cannot wait to share with you my experiences aboard the phenomenal ship, “Odyssey”.  I’ll be taking a 2-hour cruise next week and giving you the sailing scoop shortly thereafter!  Please stay tuned!

*LOL* Funny you should mention seeing Canada. Apparently someone looked out to the horizon on Lake Michigan last summer and said, “Is that Canada?” I wish it were me they had said it to because do you know what my response would have been, Don? “No, It’s Iowa.” *Field of Dreams, Kevin Costner* Ahem. 😉 Cher xo

If he looked in the opposite direction, then he would have saw Iowa, and possibly Denver. Don xo

Thank you! It can be as smooth as glass or as choppy as boiling water, and everything in between! But this cruise is just around the skyline. I’ll certainly let you know when I write a post about it! Cher xo

It was memorable. We took a cruise when the tall ships were in the harbor, too. But not in the fancy piano-like boat. 🙂

*LOL* Ah, the tall ships! Aren’t they spectacular? Well I will be doing a post shortly after the cruise, so if you have the chance to stop by and read it, I’d be interested in your comparison/differences from your cruise, Brenda! Cher xo

Thanks, John! I really appreciate your comments! I’ve never been on a long cruise, and this one is just 2 hours, but I absolutely love being out on the water! Maui and snorkeling come to mind! 🙂 Ah, that is so nice to hear! What does it say to you, John? Cher xo

On my visits to Chicago, I rode the train a few times. The pic brings back memories. I once had a car stall on me right under the tracks one time.

Not sure. I was downtown and we were not far from what was then the Sears tower.

Interestingly enough John, the “Sears Tower” is now the “Willis Tower” and they are going to change it again (new owners) in a year or two. Still the Sears Tower to the ‘locals’! Cher xo
